Qualitative analysis of organic compounds by FT-IR.

Solving customer problems with advanced analysis and "analytical skills"! We select appropriate preprocessing methods and measurement techniques.

In "FT-IR measurement," by examining the components of minute foreign substances, effective countermeasures can be developed. Compounds absorb specific infrared light energy in certain wavelength regions based on their structure. By knowing which wavelength region of light energy was absorbed, we can determine the types of elements that make up the compound and their bonding states. In the sampling of minute foreign substances, small samples are collected using a micro-sampling device while confirming the sample with a digital microscope. Micro-sampling allows for the collection of foreign substances as small as approximately 30 micrometers, and even embedded minute foreign substances can be collected and measured. [Measurement Principle] - When infrared light is irradiated onto the sample, a characteristic spectrum corresponding to the molecular structure is obtained. - By comparing the spectrum with databases or spectra of reference substances, identification of the sample is performed. - Qualitative analysis of the main components of rubber and resins. - Qualitative analysis of foreign substances adhered to or mixed into products. - Confirmation of structural changes in compounds due to thermal treatment. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Qualitative analysis of product gases generated by thermal decomposition using GC/MS method.

Solving customer problems with advanced analysis and "analytical skills"! Qualitative analysis of product emission gases.

The manufacturing of products involves heating processes such as firing and drying. By analyzing which gases are generated at which temperature ranges, we can implement measures against the emitted gases. "EGA analysis" stands for Evolved Gas Analysis, where samples placed in a specialized cup are heated in a dedicated device with a heating furnace, and the generated gases are directly introduced into a GC-MS. The obtained data is referred to as a thermogram, and the peak intensity indicates the total amount of gas generated and introduced into the GC at that temperature. "Zone analysis" estimates the temperature ranges at which gases are emitted from the thermogram obtained through the EGA method. The temperature ranges are called Zones, and we identify which components of gas are generated in each temperature range. [Features] ■EGA Analysis - Allows confirmation of which temperature range gases are being emitted from the thermogram. ■Zone Analysis - Conducts analysis by specifying temperature regions, allowing confirmation of which temperature range gases are being emitted. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Qualitative analysis by dispersion dyeing method

Demonstrating effectiveness in identifying types of asbestos.

As a method to distinguish asbestos fibers from other fibrous substances, it is possible to confirm the presence of the target asbestos fibers by utilizing the difference in refractive indices between the asbestos fibers and other fibrous substances and optically coloring them.
